The Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot will host the third T20I match between India and South Africa on June 17th.
Rishabh Pants‘ men thrashed the Proteas by 48 runs in the third game in Visakhapatnam. For the third match in a row, Temba Bavuma won the toss and elected to bat first. Ruturaj Gaikwad, who had a rocky start to his international career, blasted his way to 57 off 35 balls on Tuesday, demonstrating his genuine class.
In just 10 overs, Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan put up 97 runs for the first wicket. Following Ruturaj’s ejection, Kishan switched gears and scored 54 off 35 for his second fifty in three games.
Pant, Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, and Dinesh Karthik were all lost as the Men in Blue were on their way to a score of over 200.
Earlier in the series, SA won the first game by seven wickets while chasing 212 in Delhi, and the second game with four wickets to spare in Cuttack while chasing 149.
